Why Choose a Redwood Outdoors Sauna from BuenoSpa?

A Redwood Outdoors sauna is more than an outdoor feature - it is a daily wellness ritual designed for your home. These saunas bring together the warmth of traditional Finnish sauna culture with the convenience, durability, and style modern homeowners expect.

The collection includes a range of outdoor sauna styles for different spaces and lifestyles. The Duo Sauna is a compact 2-person option ideal for smaller backyards, urban settings, or rooftop gardens. The Cabin Sauna offers a comfortable 4-person layout with large windows and a full glass door. For larger spaces, the Summit Sauna and Barrel Sauna provide 6-person capacity, while the Garden Sauna offers the most spacious experience with room for up to 8 people.

Each sauna is designed for outdoor use and made with heat-treated wood for strength, insulation, and long-term performance. Redwood Outdoors also offers high-quality Harvia heater options, including the traditional Harvia 8kW KIP and the premium Harvia Spirit Wi-Fi 8kW heater.

Benefits of an Outdoor Sauna

An outdoor sauna creates a dedicated space for relaxation, recovery, and mental reset. It can become part of your daily or weekly wellness routine—perfect after a long workday, a workout, or a cold evening outdoors.

Instead of visiting a spa or wellness retreat, you can enjoy the sauna lifestyle at home, whenever it fits your schedule.

Which Outdoor Sauna Is Right for You?

The right sauna depends on your available space, preferred capacity, and how you plan to use it.

For compact spaces, the Duo Sauna is a great choice. For couples, families, or smaller gatherings, the Cabin Sauna offers a comfortable balance of size and function. If you want more room, the Summit Sauna, Barrel Sauna, or Garden Sauna provide larger layouts for shared relaxation.

Barrel Sauna vs. Cube Sauna

A barrel-style sauna offers a classic outdoor sauna look with a rounded design that helps reduce interior air volume for efficient heat-up. It creates a cozy, traditional sauna feel and works well in natural backyard settings.

Cube-style saunas offer a roomier interior feel, flat-roof design, and more flexible seating. Their two-level bench layouts allow users to sit higher for more heat or lower for a milder session.

Harvia Heater Options

Redwood Outdoors saunas are available with two Harvia heater options.

The Harvia 8kW KIP is a reliable traditional wall-mounted heater with manual operation and a dry, classic sauna heat experience. The Harvia Spirit Wi-Fi 8kW is the premium option, offering Wi-Fi control, remote pre-heating, and a softer steam profile with higher rock capacity.

Installation and Site Preparation

Outdoor saunas require a solid, level foundation suitable for the unit’s weight. Common foundation options include concrete pads, pavers, decks, patios, or compacted gravel bases.

All sauna heaters must be hardwired by a licensed electrician. The 8kW heaters require a 240V connection, and panel capacity should be confirmed before installation.

Delivery, Assembly, and Care

Redwood Outdoors saunas ship by freight with curbside delivery by appointment. Assembly typically takes 4–7 hours for two people, and instruction manuals are included. Exterior-only finishing may be applied if desired, but the sauna interior should not be finished or treated.

For long-term care, sauna rocks should be restacked regularly for airflow and replaced over time, while the interior can be cleaned with a mild, non-abrasive solution.
